Alumni who have stable housing and a stable income can return to the Cafes for up to 12 meals per month. They also have access to our Food Pantry, which they can use to supplement their own groceries. In addition, they enjoy monthly newsletters and periodic reunions.

Alumni are encouraged to remain an active part of the Inspiration community in several ways. The Guest-Alumni Forum is a monthly meeting that involves alumni by providing input on decisions about programming and operations of Inspiration Cafe and the Living Room Cafe. In addition, alumni are encouraged to earn extra meals by assisting with extra chores at the Cafes. They can earn extra meals and increase their positive influence on the milieu by being present and active on a more frequent basis. This ongoing interaction between guests and alumni is one of the many components that makes each Cafe a special place to be.
